75 Walks

Daily nature performances on my daily walk. I am inspired by some nature thing on each walk and record an in-the-moment nature happening. My body is part of the landscape. I integrate myself into nature. I play.

Smelling roses

Walk, Day #62, June 29, 2018

I love this patch of wild roses along the river trail. I was caught by a cyclist when recording and I pretended I was just taking photos. Why I didn't say I was doing a performance art piece with the rose bush?

Woodpecker tree

Walk, Day #67, July 7, 201

This giant prehistoric-looking Pileated woodpecker is at the top of this yummy rotted tree and flies away as I approach.

2018 my brother gave me my first ever cellphone so I had a handy video recording device and did this series. Thank you Eric!
