Ok, I didn't finish the last challenge but I really want to do Gortober again. My daughter is doing it and asked me to join her.

My Mother was in the late stages of cancer when I drew these. She passed away 3 months later. I was feeling so sad and overwhelmed by death.

This series became a creepy world scape. I put overarching parameters on this project: first is the daily prompt given by the 2018 Goretober Challange then I add fireworks, death, underground, or the universe on it.

I chose to draw tiny 2.5" x 3.5" playing card size, pen and ink on bristol paper, so very small so the darkness of the challenge wiĺl come out but not overwhelm me. Gore is not in my comfort zone. I can't even watch horror movies or read mystery novels because there is murder.
