After my mother’s death I was in a state of grief for over a year. My art became intensely happy. My vision of the world completely altered to a constant realization of how the whole world is intensely alive. I saw a hyper saturated world. All things from clouds, to tree stumps had personalities and faces as everything was alive. I had a complete aversion to any undercurrent of dark themes.

 Then my work evolved into escapist spaces. I did small oil paintings on board.
