Description: A plein air painting of the flower patch in my front yard. It was a hot day and bees, dragonflies and butterflies landed on the flowers. I patterned the top area using my small flat brush to make the distant flowers. The transparentish white paint made the white butterfly look floaty. This is a hot summer day feeling painting.
How it Was Made: The materials I used are Winsor & Newton Artist Oil Paint, Ampersand Gesso Board, Winsor & Newton Linseed Oil. I painted this plein air in my front yard in Winnipeg.
