Description: A Cardinal drinking wine at home. From a comment from one of my students about drinking wine to get through the pandemic. She said “Hey what ever gets you through this.” That stuck with me.

I like how I changed the color of the tail so if feels like you are looking through the yellow wine.

How it Was Made: The materials I used are Winsor & Newton Artist Oil Paint, Ampersand Gesso Board, Winsor & Newton Linseed Oil. I painted this at my desk in Winnipeg.
